Cooking Directions:
Preparing this wonderful bacon artichoke dip recipe is fairly simple. First take out a heavy cooking skillet, and heat it on your stove over medium high heat. Next add in the bacon, and fry it until it's golden and crispy. Once done, place the finished bacon on a plate covered with paper towels, and set it off to the side to cool down. Next take out a food processor, and plug it in. Next add into it your artichoke hearts and spinach. Pulse the food processor a couple of times, until the ingredients are finely chopped. Next take out a large mixing bowl, and empty the artichoke and spinach into it. Next add into the food processor the mozzarella cheese, green onions, and American cheddar cheese. Again pulse the food processor a couple of times, until all of the ingredients are finely chopped. Once done there, empty the food processor contents into the mixing bowl. From here add into the mixing bowl the parmesan cheese, miracle whip dressing, salt, pepper, and light sour cream. Take out a wooden spoon, and vigorously mix up all of the ingredients until you have a smooth and even artichoke dip. Finally crumple up the bacon into little bits, and add into the dip. Again stir the bacon in so it's evenly distributed throughout. Now preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or roughly 175 degrees Celsius. Now take out a casserole dish, grease it with extra virgin olive oil, and spoon into it all of the artichoke dip. Make sure to scrape the sides of your mixing bowl, you do not want to waste any of these delicious ingredients. Once your oven is ready, slide the casserole dish into the oven, and bake it for roughly 30 minutes, or until the cheese starts to bubble, and the dip surface begins to turn golden. Let the artichoke dip cool for five to ten minutes before serving. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks, sliced warmed French bread, and some tortilla chips.
